Your First Event Signup

Event signups are the core coordination feature of Alliance Studio. Here’s how to create your first one.

Prerequisites

  • You need Commander tier or higher (event signups are a paid feature)
  • If you’re on the Free tier, you can start a 14-day Strategist trial from the Billing page
  • Discord webhook setup is recommended but not required

Step 1: Create an Event

  1. Go to the Events tab
  2. Click Create Event
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Type: Battlefield, Rally, Boss, or Custom
    • Title: e.g., “Saturday KE Battlefield”
    • Date & Time: When the event starts (in your timezone)
    • Description: Optional notes for your members
  4. Click Create

The event will appear in your event list and, if you have a Discord webhook configured, it will be automatically posted to your Discord channel.

Step 2: Collect Signups

Members can sign up in two ways:

From the Web UI

Members log in to Alliance Studio, go to Events, and click Sign Up on the event card.

From Discord

If you set up a Discord webhook, the event embed includes reaction buttons. Members click the reaction to sign up — their signup syncs back to Alliance Studio automatically.

Step 3: View Signups

As an R4 or R5, you can see who signed up:

  1. Click on the event to open the detail view
  2. The Signups section shows all confirmed members
  3. You can also see who has not responded

Step 4: After the Event

After the event ends:

  1. Mark attendance (who actually showed up)
  2. Check the Leaderboard to see attendance stats over time
  3. The no-show tracker helps identify members who consistently miss events

Tips

  • Recurring events: Set up recurring events (Strategist+) for weekly battlefields. Alliance Studio auto-creates the next instance.
  • Event checklists: Attach a checklist template (Strategist+) for pre-event preparation items. Members get reminder digests at 24h, 6h, and 1h before the event.
  • Boss events: Boss events have a special flow with vote polls, attack windows, and damage tracking.
